FAQ and Troubleshooting

Why does the number of exported closed conversations not match the number of conversations in the Reports module within the same date range?

The Export Data feature strictly limits the conversations included in the data export to those that were both opened and closed within the selected date range.

If you choose a date range from August 29, 2022 to August 31, 2022, only the conversations that were opened between those dates will be included in the data export file. Any conversations that were opened before August 29 or closed after August 31 will not be included.

For example, if a conversation was opened on August 27 and closed on August 30, it would not be included in the data export. Similarly, if a conversation was opened on August 29 and closed on September 1, it would also not be included in the data export. The Export Data feature only includes conversations that both opened and closed within the selected date range.
